Lil Yacthy is a rapper and singer. His single "One Night" is his most well-known smash. His actual name is Miles Parks McCollum and he is often referred to as King Boat, Lil Boat and Nautica Boat Boy. Two mixtapes, "Summer Songs 2" and "Lil Boat" made him become an international household name. However, this wasn't his first time as an artist. His first fame came in August of 2015 with his two singles 'One Night' and 'Minnesota'. Both of them were part of his debut EP (Extended play), called 'Summer Songs. His current music label roster includes 'Capital Records' and  Quality Control Music and  Motown Records. His father was a wonderful illustration of this, as he shared with him a variety of styles of music throughout his childhood. In 2015, he opted for the title "Yachty" to relocate from Atlanta to New York. He wanted to be successful in his life. In New York, he stayed with a close friend and looked for ways to enter the music industry. Meanwhile, he networked with online street fashion personalities and built up a decent following on Instagram. He also teamed up with Burberry Perry, producer and beat maker and later his other main collaborator K$upreme. The trio is collectively known as  The Saling Team' and worked in Lil Yachty's bedroom studio. Drake's OVO Sound Radio broadcast his song "Minnesota". This was his first big success. His track "1Night" was Lil Yachty's breakthrough smash. The video for the track was posted on the internet and soon became a sensation. The SoundCloud version of the song he sang "One Night" became a meme The media flocked to his name.
